With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor L. Ring-Oda (Muncie, Indiana), born in Hartford City, Indiana, who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Eleanor may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eleanor touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Schafer and Margaret Schafer; her former husband Ernest A. Ring; and her husband Harold Oda. She is survived by: her children, Tom Ring (Terry), Doris Loveall, Linda Hylton (Ike), George Ring (Darlene), Vicky Hatt (Larry) and Billy Ring (Vicki); and her pets, Heidi and Sophie. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren.
