He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Barker and Cosy Barker (Withrow); his wife Janis F. Barker; his daughter-in-law Ingrid Barker; and his siblings, John Paul Barker, Troy Barker, Robert Barker, Hazel Potts, Jean Patrick, Evelyn May and Faye Hinton.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Barker (Tela) of Pendleton, IN, Debbie Swanson (Matt) and Wayne Barker (Vicki) of Fort Wayne, IN; and his sister Wilma Lewis of Morehead, KY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the True Light Baptist Church (805 N Country Club Rd, Muncie, IN 47303).
