She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. George Hurt and Evelyn Hurt (Almon); her husband Jack Syphers; and the father of her children Roger Reeves. She is survived by: her children, Tim Reeves (Teresa), Jeff Reeves (Julie), Sandy Wilburn (David) and Joe Reeves (Erica); her grandchildren, Jessica Wilburn (Matt Burns), Chris Reeves (Lauren), Matt Wilburn (Savannah), Josh Reeves (Monica), Kristiana Grant (Nathan), Jay Reeves, Kristin Freehill (T. J.), Katie Friday (Nathan), Kylie Reeves (Will), Haleigh Hoyt (Gentry) and Adriana Cosgrove; her stepchildren, Karen Chabal (David), Gregg Syphers (Felecia), Janel Syphers and Laura Syphers Siddiq; her stepgrandchildren, Zachary Syphers (Amanda), Devan Bolton (Franklin), Ricky Syphers, Rihana Siddiq, Jonathan Chabal, Kyle Syphers and Joshua Chabal; and her brother Bill Hurt (Norma). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
