She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Matchett and Mayme Matchett (Smiley); her former husband Oshel Rutledge; her husband Thomas Scott; and her siblings, Lewis Matchett, Robert Matchett, Myron Matchett, Elbert Matchett, James Matchett, Janet Matchett, Inez Kunkle and Edith St. John.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Rainey (Phillip), Jeanne Townsend (Steven) and Mark Rutledge (Jacqueline) of Syracuse, IN; her grandchildren, Chad Townsend (Jennifer), Shawna Atkins (Mathew), Nicki Hockenberry (Brian), Holly Privett (Fred) and Michael Rutledge (Sofie); and her daughter-in-law Jean Rutledge. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
