He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Kaicy and Thelma Kaicy (Lipps); and his brother Brad Wolf. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Brooks (Rinker); his child Abby Ayers (Nate); his grandson Hyland Ayers; his stepson Shane Brooks (Scotti); his stepgrandsons, Ethan Brooks and Avry Brooks; and his brother John Kaicy (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
