He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Shobe and Dorothy Shobe (Hunter); and his sisters, Margaret and Martha Shobe. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Shobe; and his children, David Shobe of Lawrence, Martin Shobe (Merrilyn) of Leavenworth, Nora Fletcher of Muncie and Mary Ellen Hobson (Steven) of El Paso, Texas.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
In place of. flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Indiana Academy, in care of BSU Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and the local Animal Rescue Fund (ARF).
