Gary E. Baughman Obituary
We announce the death of Gary E. Baughman (Muncie, Indiana), who passed away on October 30, 2026, at the age of 78. Gary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Gary will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Gary will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Gary’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Eugene Baughman and Lila Loftus (Hall); and his cousins, David Hall and Bill Hall. He is survived by: his siblings, Stephen Baughman (Patty McMurray) and Sharon Baughman of Flagler Beach, FL; and his cousins, Larry Hall and Bonnie Ridge. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory - Washington St. Chapel (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
