He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Edd" Moody and Orpha Moody (Storie); his wife Marie Moody (Jester); his son Michael Moody; and his siblings, Mavis Hopper, Pauline Parrigin, Hazel Peterson, Mildred Winningham, Robert Moody and Carl Moody.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Moody (Cindy) of Daleville and Vickie Rees (Myke) of Daleville; his grandchildren, Jason Rees (Mandy) of Daleville, Trent Rees (Kim) of Daleville, Kyle Rees (Lauren) of Denver, Meagan Jones (Derek) of Pendleton and Whitney Crider (Bryce) of Fishers; and his great grandchildren, Cassidy Rees, Maddie Rees, Rowan Rees, Madden Moore, Maylee Moore, Stevie Jones, Vivee Jones, Nova Rees, Silas Rees, Quinn Rees, Bella Crider, Austin Crider, Kylee Crider and Myles Crider.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Elm Ridge Funeral Home (4600 W Kilgore Ave, Muncie, IN 47304). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
