She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Dobbs and Mamie Dobbs; her husband Bob Coates; her sons, Robert and Charles Coates; and her siblings, Tommy Dobbs, Mary Royal, Nancy Lutes and Linda Garrett.
She is survived by: her daughter Vickie Dobbs (Jimmy); and her sister Judy Weans. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
