She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Boles and Bernice Boles; her husband James H. Shaw; her sons, Kenneth Shaw and Darrell Shaw; and her great grandchildren, Russell Burton and Brandon Shaw.

She is survived by: her sons, James H. Shaw Jr. (Jane) and Michael Shaw (Julia); and her daughter-in-law Sue Shaw. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews and extended family.
