He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Burnett; his parents, Matthew Burnett and Stella Burnett; and his siblings, Jewell Burnett, Mary Hurt Robbins, Irene Simpson, Betty Fairchild and Curtis Burnett.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Griffey of Muncie, IN, Perry Burnett (Kim) of Villa Hills, KY and Anita Walker (Eric) of Noblesville, IN. He is also survived by five grandsons, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
