He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold McVicker and Esther McVicker (Cardiff); his wife Erma Gene; and his siblings, James, Lowell, Phyllis and Mildred Mellott.
He is survived by: his sons, Harold McVicker of Arlington and Marc McVicker (Kendra) of Clinton; and his grandchildren, Rhys McVicker of Franklin, Casey and Stacey McVicker of Arlington, Texas..
Howard requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Howard and Erma McVicker Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County.
