He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Hougland (Lucas); his daughter Melissa Hougland-Brower (Missy); his grandson Connor Hougland-Brower; his half-brother Etson Hougland; his son Taylor Hougland; his cousin Sharon Zearing (Stan); and his sisters-in-law, Lois Higdon, Bobbie Fellows-Schneider, Wanda Shisler-Irish (Glenn) and Janet Lucas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
