She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Thornhill and Grace "Betty" Thornhill; her son Jeff Stephens; her grandson Daniel Stephens; her brother KJ Thornhill; and her husbands, Jim VanDien and Dale Barton Stephens.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Stephens and Cynthia Stinson; her grandchildren, Scott Stephens, Kelly Jo Brickley, Emily Stephens, Benjamin Stephens, David Stephens, Mike Fitzgerald and Doug Fitzgerald; and her great grandchildren, Sloane Stephens, Evan Stephens, Stephanie Hale, Stacia Vorhees, Aidan Fitzgerald, Keegan Fitzgerald, James Fitzgerald and Anna Fitzgerald.
