He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Bowling and Lotena Bowling (Epperson); his wife Linda Bowling; his siblings, Sue, Altie Moffitt and Ernest Bowling; his grandson Thomas Saunders Jr.; and his great grandchild Michael Ferrell Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Jordan and Lawanna Saunders; his son-in-law Thomas Saunders; his grandchildren, Rebekah Ferrell (Michael), James Saunders (Britany), Shannon Saunders and Robert Wittenhouse; his great grandchildren, Montana Montaque, Madilynne, Kaylee, Cyrus, Aiden, Carmen, Emrie, Preston, Mason, Brooklin and Ace; and his siblings, Michael Bowling (Debbie), Kenny Bowling, Rita (Mike), Faye and Kay. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, special niece.
