He was predeceased by: his father John Wise Jr.; his son Kyle White; and his sister-in-law Tammy Long. He is survived by: his mother Janet Wise (Sanders); his wife Tina Wise; his children, Krista Wise, James Wise Jr. and John Wise; his grandchildren, Ethan Wise, Opal Thornburg, Kailey White of Tristan White, A. J, Westyn Wise and Ava Wise; his siblings' children, Quentin Long, Juliana Long, Daymon Rigsby (Terra), Kira Futrual (Mike), Carrie Johnson and Matthew Dedrich; his siblings, John "Tom" Wise (Carol), Julie Marlow and Jay Wise; his mother-in-law Loretta Rigsby; and his brother-in-law Terry Rigsby.
