James Himes Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2025, at the age of 57, James Himes Sr. (Muncie, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandsons, Ryan Spencer Himes and Owen Himes; and his grandparents, Bert, Vivian Himes, James Osborne and Donna Elloitt.
He is survived by: his children, James Himes, Jr. (Amber), Mitchell Himes, Christopher Himes, Jenni Himes and Joey Himes; his parents, Norma Coffey (Gary) and John Himes, Sr. (Susie); his siblings, Sherri Maslanik, John Himes, Jr. (Michelle), Kevin Taylor, Joe Himes (Heather) and Eric Fisher (Kelly); his grandchildren, Jameson Himes, Wesley Himes, Wyatt Himes, Aubree Smith, Ja'Kobe Himes and Ellie Anna Himes; and his pet Oliver. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory - Washington St. Chapel (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
