He is survived by: his children, James Johnson Jr. (Melanie) and Jama Munson (Matthew); his adoptive daughter Ann King (Kevin); and his brother Ed Johnson (Carolyn). He is also survived by five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
