She was predeceased by: her parents, Essie Kennedy (Dotson) and Roosevelt Kennedy; her children, Barbara Kennedy, Henry and William Hart; her grandchildren, Joaquin Kennedy, Daytreion Jones and Daymarr Kennedy; and her siblings, Rosetta Hampton, Druella Jackson, Charles Smith, Roosevelt Kennedy and Addie Hollins.

She is survived by: her children, Adia Kennedy, Virgie Isom (Ronrico), Annie Case (Charles) and Kenneth Hart; her siblings, Benny, Johnny, Willie, Diane and Jimmy Kennedy; and her grandchildren, David Kennedy (Gloria), Oshita Wyatt, Gregory Wyatt, Marcus Jones, Chandra Hart, Antonio Hart, Rondrico Isom (Jessica), Jadien Isom, Brooklyn Case, Trayvon Hart, Skyler Case (Emily), Miami Hart, Kendall Hart, Carrington Isom, Ariyanna Hart and Alexus Ray. She is also survived by fifty-three great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

MUNCIE - Jannie (Kennedy) Hart departed this life Friday, April 17, 2026, surrounded by family after her last battle with Alzheimer's disease.
