He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald R. Anderson and Lola A. Anderson; his former wife Victoria Anderson (Mills); his brother John Lewis Anderson; and his nephew Aaron Cross.

He is survived by: his wife Rachel Anderson (Barnes) of Muncie Indiana; his sons, Justin Anderson (Lauren) of South Carolina and Cody Anderson (Amber) of Michigan; his stepchildren, Brandon Nelson (Amanda) of Minnesota, Jessica Moffitt of Pennsylvania, Jordan Moffitt of Muncie and Brandi Chitwood (Noah) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Annika of Noah, AJ, Jayden, Brandon Jr., Kieran and Caroline; his siblings, Ronnie Anderson of Muncie, Indiana and Donna Cross (Ed) of Michigan; his nieces and nephews, Regan Hawkins (Ian), Avery, Quinn Hawkins, Mindy Commiskey (Ryan), Kristy Anderson, Zachary Anderson and Christopher Anderson; and his cousin Mike Anderson.
