The passing of Jerry D. Highley Sr. of Muncie, Indiana occurred on September 22, 2026. Jerry, born on May 28, 1937, is remembered by those who knew him. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Highley and Margaret Highley (Cunnington); his grandson Graham; and his brother Danny Highley. He is survived by: his wife Sandi Highley; his sons, Jerry Highley Jr. (Cathy), Steven Highley and Kent Highley (Robin); his grandchildren, Travis, Tyler, Trent, Alyssa, Alex and April; his great grandchildren, Daymon, Emma, Selah, Jude, Arthur, Asher and Isla; and his sister-in-law Lela Highley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to ALS Research (Lou Gehrig's Disease) or the charity of your choice.
