He was predeceased by: his parents, John David and Omecha Sarah (Summers); his wife Lynn Sarah; his son Craig Sarah; his granddaughter Mallorie; his son-in-law Dennis Kirts; his brother David "Gene"; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Sarah.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Kirts and Stephanie Ross (Matt); his grandchildren, Sarah Hancock (Derek), Hannah Daugherty (Chris), Heather Strout (Bradley), Cameron Sarah (Mackenzie), Cyler Sarah (Karrie), Whitney Bousman (Eric) and Faith Ross (Jacob Downard); his great grandchildren, Aaron, Adalynn, Axel, Andrew, Keegan, Malachi, Nathan, Calan, Myla, Adley, Amira, Adera, Kyra, Reagan, Annistyn, Palmer and Bousman; his pet Penske; his siblings-in-law, Carol Shelton (Elmo) and Jack Ropple (Laura); his daughter-in-law Brenda Sarah (Andrew Zickgraf); and his faithful Yorkie (Snoopy).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory - Washington St. Chapel (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305).
