We announce the death of Jerry A. Smith of Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonzie Burt and Frances Opal Smith (Stinson); his wife Marilyn; his daughter Malinda Glidden; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Smith; and his siblings, Bob Smith, Raymond Smith and Noretta Taylor.

He is survived by: his son Brad Smith; his son-in-law Tim Glidden; his grandchildren, Stephanie Hiatt, Joe Hardwick and Amanda Glidden; his great grandchildren, Jackson Hiatt, Isaiah Hiatt and Brooklyn Hiatt; and his brother Alvin Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
