He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Harris (Chalfant); his children, Vicki Smith Cox of Selma, Sherry Harris of Muncie, Ronnie Harris of Clawson and Steve (Hoy Harris); and his brother Freddie Harris of Twinton, Tennessee. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
