He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann "Jody" Sparling of Troy, OH; his children, Judy Lunsford (Ray) of Nashville, TN, John E. Sparling of Muncie and Jean Bauman (Ed) of Casstown, OH; his grandchildren, Monica Lunsford Buchanan (Austin), Matthew Lunsford (Margaret), Jacob Lunsford, Sarah Sparling, John R. Sparling, Denver Bauman and Krystal Bauman Layman (Alex); his great grandchildren, Saylor, Briggs Buchanan, Lillian, Evelyn and Isabelle Lunsford; and his half-sister Cheryl Sparling Harding (Sam) of Florida.
