He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Archie and Lelia Elizabeth Mock (Huey); his great grandchild Legend Whitmire; and his siblings, William Mock and Janet Mock-Bishop.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ann Mock; his children, Rhonda Mock-Short, John R. Mock, Jr. (Brooke) and Charles Mock (Loretta); his grandchildren, Dallas Short, Courtney Roach (Brice), Marissa Mock and Ethan Mock; and his sister Carolyn Sue Kopp. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
