He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stanley and Marjorie Stanley of Blountsville, Indiana.; his grandson Bosten Stanley; his great grandchild Eleanor Mann; and his brother Max Stanley (Mickey).

He is survived by: his wife Nena Stanley; his children, Scott Stanley (Denna) and Carol Rust (Nathan); and his grandchildren, Aspen Mann (Stephen), Johnthan Rust, Liam Rust and Landon Rust.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elm Ridge Funeral Home (4600 W Kilgore Ave, Muncie, IN 47304). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
