With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Ertle (Muncie, Indiana), born in Hartford City, Indiana, who passed away on September 22, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl E. Ertle and Mary M. Ertle (Chismer). He is survived by: his wife Connie S. Ertle of Muncie; his children, Brian Ertle (Angela) of Keller, TX, Kassandra "Kassie" Smith of Daytona Beach, FL and Jeremy Ertle of Daytona Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Ashley, Billy, Mercedez, Alexis, Matte, Mallory, Cearra, Jett and Madison; his great grandchild Raelynn; his siblings, Gregory Ertle (Terry Jenkins) of Muncie, Jeff Ertle of Muncie and Sue Shears (Pete) of Osceola; his niece Tracie Mullins (Bill) of Anderson; and his sisters-in-law, Lavella Reynolds of Muncie and Jean Atkinson (Steve) of New Castle. He is also survived by three brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.
