With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joy Combs (Muncie, Indiana), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joy left this world on October 13, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sterling Kelley and Bertha Kelley (Ross); her husband Dr. William M. Combs; and her brother Ross. She is survived by: her siblings, Sterling Kelley, Barbara Wyatt and Ila Bench; her children, Sarah Mishler (Jeffrey), William M. "Buddy" Combs III and Marilyn Bisbecos (Peter); her grandchildren, Rachel Jones, William M. Combs IV (Amanda), Caroline Combs, Katherine New (Dylan), Andrew Bisbecos and Mark Bisbecos; and her great grandchildren, William "Liam" M. Combs V, Maci Combs and Mason New.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the High Street United Methodist Church (219 S High St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
