We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2026, at the age of 85, Joyce A. Hargis of Muncie, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ellar (Pearl); her stepfather Howard Petty; and her father Walter Howard. She is survived by: her children, Ross DeWayne (Cathy), Roger (Susan), Shayne and Hollie; her grandchildren, Travis (Courtney), Jared (Abby), Ryan (Danielle), Katie, Bryant, Bryson (Whitney), Tristan and Taylan; her great grandchildren, Luke, Colin, Reid, Lincoln, Piper, Cora, Madeline and Lucy; her niece Penny Davis (Tom); and her siblings, Margaret Thompson, Juanita Williams, Mary Metz and Walter Howard (Junior).
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the River of Life Church (5350 W Bethel Ave, Muncie, IN 47304). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
