Karyn Shipley Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karyn Shipley of Muncie, Indiana, born in Frankfort, Indiana, who passed away on November 28, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Fleischhauer and Shirley Fleischhauer. She is survived by: her close friend Brenda Justice; her former husband Robert Shipley; her children, Eric Shipley (Brandi), Claire Nevels (Louis) and Kyle Shipley (Kelly); her siblings, Keith Fleischhauer, Mark Fleischhauer (Karen), Dean Fleischhauer (Lois), Doris Hudgens and Kevin Fleischhauer (Lori); and her grandchildren, Jackson, Payton, Lawson, Blaine, Gracie, Keaden and Aiden.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Music Department at Ball State University at bsu.edu/give or mail to Ball State University Foundation in memory of Karyn Shipley.
