He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Herker and Vera Herker. He is survived by: his wife Glenna Herker (Johnson); his sons, Gregory Herker and Steven Herker of Indianapolis Indiana; and his granddaughter Grace Bucher (Richard Bucher).
