With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Lou (Huxhold) Hendee of Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on July 11, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Huxhold and Nancy Huxhold (Mansfield); her husband James E. "Pete" Hendee; and her siblings, Freda Thompson-Seaman, Wilma Grove, Elma Bailey, Max, Russell, Jack and Perry Huxhold.
She is survived by: her children, Sheri Ward (John) and Kevin Hendee; her grandsons, Ryan Law, Jonathon Ward and Daniel Ward (Crystal); and her siblings, Bruce Huxhold, Delores Morris and Diane Randolph. She is also survived by 5 great-grandsons, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elm Ridge Funeral Home (4600 W Kilgore Ave, Muncie, IN 47304). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
