She is survived by: her sister Myrna Atkinson; her nephews, Tim Atkinson, Reed Atkinson, Todd Atkinson, Brent Reed and Brad Reed; her niece Pamela Reed; her daughter Carol Owens; and her granddaughters, Amy Hahns and Ellen Karcsay (Robert).
