She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Claussen and Anna Claussen (Schroeder); her husband James Kanney; her siblings, Ray Claussen, Charles Claussen, Jr. and Mildred Riehle; and her son-in-law Clarence Meadows.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Carlin (David), Mary Meadows and Jody Gibbs (Marc). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
