She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter and Edith; her husband Charles Brumback; her daughter Odessa Brown; her grandchildren, Christie Holten and Michael Cross; and her siblings, Phyllis Ellcessor, Audra Piner, Violet Felton, Vera Rankin, Marjorie York, Thelma Ford and Buddy Strickler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janelle Hoover (Bob), Jill Brumback and Kelli Cross (Kim); her grandchildren, Michelle Young (Josh), Nicole Watson (Dean), Gary Brown (Kara), Julie Howey (Ross), Jamie Cross (Teresa), Bobbi Berry (Mike) and Kyle Brumback (Ashley); her great great grandchild Scarlett Hoover; and her sister Madge Ellcessor. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory - Washington St. Chapel (415 E Washington St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
