With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Bowers of Muncie, Indiana, born in Portland, Indiana, who passed away on October 2, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gordon Darby and Cleo Darby (Elick); her former husband Jacob Bowers; her husband Dale Robbins; and her children, Kim VanSkyock (Cathy), Lonna Vanskyock, Monna Vanskyock (Sheila), Becky Wellman (Rick), Terry Bowers (Lisa), Julie Kates (Bill), Mark Robbins (Jennifer) and Jennifer Hughes (Jim). She was also cherished by 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, several cousins and an aunt.

Memorials may be directed towards Asbury United Methodist Church in Portland or Fountain Square Church in Muncie.
