Martha M. Knight Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha M. Knight (Muncie, Indiana), born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on October 21, 2022 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Martha M. Knight to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl E. Mart and Wilma I. Mart (Carmony); her husband Marvin D. Knight; her daughters, Joellen Janney and Karen Haymaker (Janney); and her close friend Joan Mauck.

She is survived by: her children, Jean Anne Hiatt (Steve) of Warsaw and Michael Janney (Payton) of Gaston; her son-in-law Kenneth Haymaker of Muncie; her stepchildren, Kathy Chanson of Clayton, Kristy Carothers (Bruce) of Greenfield, Ron Knight (Julia) of Knoxville, TN and Jennifer Phillips of Yorktown; her grandchildren, Krista Shipley, Kaitlyn Hiatt, Kendra Janney, Heather Jackson (Ryan), Jordan Haymaker, Jon Kunsman, Alan Knight (Lindsey), Mindy Wehmeier (Paul), Melissa Knight, Danielle Anderson (Steve) and Sydney Phillips; her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Garrett, Nolan J., Nate, Sam, Mak, Daniel, Gabe, Katie, Nolan K., Conner, Reagan and Mattilyn; her great great grandchild Atlas; her sisters, Elaine Markins of Charleston, SC, Mary Ann Hensley of Fishers and Betty Brammer of Summitville; and her close friend Dorothy Hiatt of Wheaton, IL.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
