He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin D. Gridley and Vera Irene Gridley. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Shelly of Muncie and Skip of Dayton, Ohio; his grandson Jack; and his siblings, Spencer Gridley (Judy) of Sidney and Sally Bendura (Mickey) of Pennellville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Ball State Foundation in support of the Gridley Family Scholarship for Women Athletes or to a charity of the donor's choice.
