She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Life and Lottie Life; her husband Charles W. "Bud" Thomas; her brothers, Dale F. Life and John R. "Beanie" Life; and her nieces, Sharon Carpenter, Barbara Cavanaugh, Peggy Davis and Linda Smith.
She is survived by: her son Larry W. Thomas (Karen) of Archdale, N. C.; her grandchildren, Deborah J. Thomas and Peter W. Thomas of Archdale, N. C.; and her great grandchild Ali A. Murray of Abingdon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
