She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Morris and Mary Elizabeth Lykins; her husband James Monroe; and her siblings, Carolyn, Beverly, Christina and Samuel.
She is survived by: her children, James Monroe, Rick Monroe (Charlotte), Vicki Strahan (Paul), Teresa Strahan (Chris) and Eric Monroe (Amanda); and her sisters, Rozella, Patsy and Velma.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Parson Mortuary (801 W Adams St, Muncie, IN 47305). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
