He was predeceased by: his daughter Adaline Hamilton; and his grandparents, Bill, Nancy Hamilton, Robert Heier, Helen Clark and Jim Clark.

He is survived by: his daughter Vivian Hamilton of Muncie; his parents, Steve Hamilton (Joyce) of Albany and Donna Martin (John) of New Castle; his siblings, Taylor Hamilton (Jordan) of Muncie, David Fisher (Cierra) of Farmland, Rachael Hamilton of New Castle and Kristen McConnell (Mat) of Albany; the mother of his child Amy Hamilton of Muncie; and his nieces and nephews, Riley, Clayton, Chance, Mati, Emillia, Laurie, Rondell, Helen, Hadley and Hazel. He is also survived by many extended family members and countless friends.

He was an active member of Glad Tidings Church in Muncie and belonged to the Wounded Veterans Foundation as well as the American Legion posts in New Castle and Yorktown.
