He was predeceased by: his mother Olive McGunegill (Ryan); his grandson Moses Mercer; his daughter-in-law Tiffany McGunegill; and his half-siblings, Max McGunegill, Jack Brownfield, Mondaline McGunegill, Donna Fugate and Nancy Mitchell.
He is survived by: his father Earl McGunegill; his wife Roselyn Corn; his children, Sarah Martin (Roy) of Andersonville, TN, Melissa Mercer (Tim) of Bloomington, IN and Patrick McGunegill (Jenna) of Jasper, MN; his grandchildren, Emmy, Amelia, Elijah Mercer, Logan, Mabry, Max, Lenox and McClaine McGunegill; his sister Sue; his in-laws, Edward and Rosetta Corn; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Elder, Roger Schielfelbein, John Corn and George Buckles. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
