With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis L. Johnson in Muncie, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2026 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxwell B. Clevenger and Evelyn O. Clevenger (Baker); her grandmother Phyllis; her husband Shannon Johnson; and her siblings, Patricia Haffner, Dee Clevenger, Darwin Clevenger, Max Eugene Clevenger, Mike Clevenger and Janis Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Jacky Johnson (Jeff), Dale Johnson (Peg), Dennis Johnson and Dana Peters (Doug); her grandchildren, Heidi Hale (Sean), Erik Johnson (Kim), Shelby Alleyn (Casey), Erika Macartney (Jaimie), Riley Hill (Nathan), Shad Peters (Katie) and Zachary Peters; her great grandchildren, Alec, Sarah, Adam, Samantha, Reid, Jolie, Gracie, Lily, Everett, Josie, Caroline and Evie; and her sisters, Suzanne Norris, Ann Meyer (Carol) and Cindy Holaday (Larry). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and several good friends.
