She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank A. Walters and Sarah E. Walters (McCoy); her former husbands, W. Allphin McAlister and Fred Burke; her siblings, Ishmael, Delbert Walters, Norma Stellwag and Dorothy McKelvey; her stepgrandson Joseph Ray Sparks; and her stepgreat-grandson Erik Sparks.
She is survived by: her husband Noel B. Sparks; her children, Mary Rose (Bob) of Anderson, Pat McAlister (Risa Jones) of Mt. Summit and Mike McAlister (Michele) of Mt. Summit; her grandchildren, Jerry Greer (Monica) of Noblesville, Trisha Newton (Shane) of Black Mountain, NC, Leah McAlister (Trevor) of Mt. Summit and Alli Sanusi (Tosin) of Indianapolis; and her stepdaughter Nola Sargent (Bob) of Albany. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
