He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Taylor and Elizabeth Ruth Taylor (Mitchell); his wife Dawnetta "Dee" Taylor (Lacey); his son Richard Mike Taylor; and his siblings, Edward "Pete", Robert Taylor, Velma Mae, Mary Louise and Callie Belle.
He is survived by: his son Danny D. Taylor; his grandchildren, Abby, Rachel, Lia, Aryanna and Christopher M. Taylor; and his daughter-in-law Cheryl Taylor. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
