She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence D. Weems and Ida Pearl Weems (Burks); and her siblings, Larry Weems and Darlene Craig. She is survived by: her husband Mike King; her sons, Chris King (Amy) of Yorktown and Mike King of Muncie; her grandson Sam of Santa Maria, California.; and her sister Shirley Faulkner. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
