We are sad to announce that, on November 5, 2020, at the age of 70, Richard Carpenter (Muncie, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Carpenter and Verda Carpenter (Hawke); his son Kevin Carpenter; his brother Jerry Ray Carpenter; and his brother-in-law Steve Lykins.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Carpenter; his daughters, Kelly Hudson (Colin), Tara Waldrop (Clint), Lesli Levesque and Angie Sorah (Chris); his grandchildren, Chase and Peyton Hudson; his sister Judith Lykins; his aunt Marguerite Yoachim; his nephews, Brad Hicks (Julie) and Scott Hess (Dana); and his pet Zeke.

Rick always insisted that everyone be safe and take Covid seriously.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elks National Foundation, 2750 N. Lakeview Ave., Chicago, IL 60614.
