He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Dowling and Wanda Dowling; his in-laws, Dick and Susie Norrick; and his grandparents, Ray, Martha Dowling, Dale and Thelma Rector.
He is survived by: his wife Sandi Dowling; his daughters, Daisha Hummel (Corey) and Erin Jackson (Chad); his grandchildren, Carlee Miller (Brogan), Maggie Matthews (Luke), Raegan Jackson, Kaid Jackson, Dawson Hummel, Amelia Hummel and Peyton Hummel; his great grandchild Benson Miller; and his siblings, Debbie New (Joe), Doug Dowling (Kelly) and Steve Dowling (Donna).
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Muncie Elks Lodge 909 (909 N 500 W Rd, Muncie, IN 47304).
