With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Douglas Barnes of Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on September 14, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank James Barnes and Alpha Jane Stephens Barnes; and his siblings, Patty Barnes Morton and Ron Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Diana L. Parks Barnes; his son Eric D. Barnes; his daughter-in-law Diana M. Barnes; his son Ryan A. Barnes; his daughter-in-law Beth Barnes; his brother Roy Barnes; his sister-in-law Nicki Barnes; his sister Rachel Paulette Guttierez; his brother-in-law Salomon Guttierez; and his grandchildren, Zach Barnes, Morgan Barnes, Evelyn Barnes and Owen Barnes.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Muncie Animal Care and Services in Doug's honor.
